So many memories where to start and stop! Having you as our babysitter, although on reflection you weren’t much older than me! You were always great fun. We were so lucky to have you over the fence. In your bedroom watching you get ready for nights out and dates, rushing up the town centre last thing on a Saturday when you suddenly realised you’d no suitable shoes (for your tiny wee feet) for your night out. Pinching a read of your Jackie and Loving magazines. Your terrible spelling. And of course as I grew up a great listener and secret keeper. Hoping you’re catching up with the people that you love, who have loved you but who have gone before you. I’ll never forget you ❤️❤️

We are devastated to hear of your passing, Marie, but hope that you are resting peacefully. You, and all of the family, were dealt a really cruel hand and you have all dealt with your illness with dignity and grace. We'll continue to talk of you often. Thank you for being the best friend to Margaret and auntie to Michael and Nik. We hope Margaret welcomed you with a big hug and you're both watching everyone with pride. Always in our thoughts xx

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine.
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that mother to me.
